The Pokemon GO smartphone craze has taken the world by storm.But the app also provides cyber-criminals with an opportunity to take advantage of consumers and their obsession with playing Pokemon GO.
Because the app is available only in a limited number of countries currently, some users are set to download the app from sources other than Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Downloading apps from unofficial sources, though, risks exposing users to malicious apps that can be used to steal sensitive information or even to spy on them without their knowledge.
